Keynote Speaker: Dr. Melissa Baker, University of Texas El Paso (UTEP)
Talk: Does Stress Make Us More Susceptible to Misinformation?

Dr. Baker is an Assistant Professor of Political Science. Before joining the faculty at UTEP in 2022, she was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy at the University of Toronto. She received her Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of California, Merced. Her keynote speech will focus on the influence of mental health on political behavior and civic engagement.
